Description

Just returned home from a wonderful trip to Jersey in the Channel Islands. Took lots of photos, but due to the bright sunny weather it was a case of point and shoot and hope for the best. (just how do you see lcd screens on digital cameras in bright sunlight??) Well a bit of creative cropping and post-work was needed on some. This one is St Ouen's Bay, taken from the Channel Islands Military Museum ( A restored WW2 Bunker) Post-work done in the Gimp

Weird concrete structure, must be a left-over from WWII ? or storm-surf wall ? As for your Digital camera problemo, easy...just do what I do and use the good old manual view-finder ! Neat composition and capture ! ~Cheers~

Beautiful image Steve. For the digital camera problem.....see if you can find a shade to attach to the camera. They are available in different sizes to accommodate different size screens. I looked into one for my hubby's camera because his is one that only has the screen and no view finder for your eye. Just type in "screen shades digital cameras" (without the quotes) to Google and you can see what I am talking about. Suze
