First glance I saw the ferry terminal at Calais, many lorries waiting in queues to board for the journey cross Channel to England, and then I thought of The Customs checking all the trailers for stowaways. The communications orbs in full swing, probing and peering. It is a sad picture for me but also very beautiful.

Impressive work. At first my fear of heights played up a bit :-) But Jenny's right: it looks like those big containers waiting to be shipped off. And I can't help but wondering how far down these things are hanging in the air; how many are there? Wonderful piece.
