Description

After crossing the bridge and entering by the great door, this is the scene..quite a knock-out! If you can zoom in on the gables on the right and follow the inscriptions the date is MDL11.not too certain of last 2 digits but makes it dated 1550s. For Denise and others who were curious of the date. It's owned by the National Trust and a marvellous setting for period music and drama Patterns are everywhere in the timber work and glass and behind is a knot garden.
