The year is 1918... The AEF (American Expeditionary Force)had been in Europe since late fall 1917, but had yet to see action but then in may 1918 there was a german counter offensive & the AEF saw it's first action. Battles such as Chateau thiery , Belleau Wood, 2nd Marne battle, & the Argonne comme to mind. The troops portrayed are from the 6th Marine regiment, 3rd Batalion. I was going for accuracy... did my best! Used M3 & Daedalus Sky Mercenary boots from daz & the uniforms are from PoserWorld, RCMP & combat Pants, Helmets & weapons from Panko xcept for the winchester model 97(google), The 1910 webing from adh3d. The forest came with daz studio. retextured the uniforms & sky merc boots to make gaiters & puttees with displacement maps all the buttons collar tabs & cap badges are new. Every thing was done in daz studio including fog, then was finished in PS where more troopers were added in the background. The marines wore 2 types of uniformes in WW1, The marine forest green & the army OD, the only thing missing gas mask but i did want the individuallity of the characters to come through. The maxim alos came from daz got it when it was free from serge, the stahlhem came from renderosity freebies. This was long time in making, lots of research, thx for looking!
