Description

Finally I had time to watch a great video tutorial by Dax Pandhi (you can download it from here: http://blog.quadspinner.com/post/2009/05/02/Free-Video-Tutorial-Desert-Sunset.aspx ), which covers some good tricks about terrain function editing. I started to experiment with terrain functions, then I ended up making this snowy scene (because I very rarely make snowy scenes). Though it's hard to see, this terrain is pretty large; actually it's 50 × 50 km large.......have you noticed the helicopter?? xD Thanks for viewing! =)

Awesome work. The little helicopter adds to the vastness of the terrain.

That's just fantastic :-) The video is very helpful ... you have done a great job taking his ideas and turning them into this image.

A vast and beautiful landscape! The tiny helicopter helps us to feel the width and breath of this immense terrain. Masterfully done.
