Description

Here is the Zodiac sign known as Scorpio, the Scorpion Scorpio's are little powerhouses of boundless energy and enthusiasm. For that reason, I have depcited this image with lots of movement, and a dominating dynamic (she has tamed the giant Scorpion and now rides him) Also, unlike the rest of the images in this series, this one has lightning. This is not only to show their energy, but also their intensity. Scorpio's are quite intense people, who like Taurus, have that unmovable energy and go at something til completion. But Scorpio, since its ruled by Pluto, manifests that energy very differently than Taurus -- it often comes across as being darker. For this reason, people may see them as obsessive, overly-paranoid and vindictive creatures. As you can also see, shes leather clad, with chainmail just below the straps. This is to symbolize that Scorpio's wear (metaphorical) armor. But Scorpio (much like its symbol the Scorpion) only wears that armor on the outside, to protect that soft squishy center of them that is emotional and gets hurt very easily. Since this sign is ruled by Water, it is a very emotional sign. So while they may seem harsh, it is merely the illusion of Scorpionic energy. They also seek emotional closeness with other people, and this is usually harnessed through sexual desire. They feel, through that alone, can they experience two halves as one being. Since the ruling color of Scorpio is maroonish dark red, I have tipped the twisty prop (which forms the symbol of Scorpio) with that coloring (as well as the tentacles) Last but not least, lots of turbulent water and rain dominates the scene, since Water is the ruling element of Scorpio.
