Description
A Noir-esque portrait of my character Tora.
The hair is partially a Neftis product and then painted overtop to add more realism.
This is a first attempt for me at painting a tattoo - in this case, an irezumi tattoo, which are incredibly complex! Not sure I did it justice, but it was my first kick at the can.

Cool! You did an excellent job on this, the hair and tattoo. I like the mood you captured, it could be a poster for a spy flick.

WOW - is this pose ever reminiscent of a scene in my online drama Bomaw, where the leading male, "Shawn" was in such a position, hidding behind his sisters house, in the woods, laying low, watching for her abusive, stalking, soon to be ex-husband, seen there when a restraining order had already been broken by said husband. Shawn sat in the dark, not moving a muscle, dressed in all black, ticks crawling on him, keeping his eyes trained through the night-viewer, at the back of her home, praying all the time as he sat in silence, that her ex not show back up there, but his prayers were not answered, because creeping along, like a sneaky snake, there he was again, he showed up once more, to do her in for daring to leave him... end of set-up ... just a snippet of an exerpt. ->:excerpt:<- Scene from Bomaw, Series 8, Ep. 61, Ch. 184 Checking everything around him, he crept with caution back through the yard again. Back behind the house and then he went further afield this time, just in case. Made his way back around, stopping every so often to look and listen. Not a sound. He finally went to where her Jeep was parked and then onto the deck. He moved ever so quietly, back to the window. His heart was tripping over itself. He needed a moment to rev up his nerve. He blew, taking a couple of deep breaths, pulled his switch blade from his pocket to cut open the screen when he felt a sudden breeze and heard the slightest sound; breaking out in a sudden sweat, he jerked around to look behind him. That brilliant illustration above, brought this scene back to me! WOW

You nailed it! Brilliant noir feeling which oozes from the edges of the frame like blood. The picture is so powerful and yet still which gives it dramatic suspense. I think you did a great job on the tattoo as well. Bravo!
