Description

Some images come easier than others... As I am working on a difficult idea, I played a little and came out with this stress relief image. I used simple photoshop techniques to combine a layer with a fractal (UF5) and a colored layer. Then I used a third party filter similar to liquify to distort the image a little. Hope you like it. thank you so much for stopping by my gallery a few times...I've barely caught up with half the people I've wanted to, but the few times I've seen your work I've been much impressed. This is a sweeping and very varied piece, from broad sweeps to highly detailed 'colonies', and you have the most fascinating scatter of orbs and organic forms all across sections. It's a very complex, organically 'littered' piece, with broad open sections to balance; and the highly intense activity in the bottom third transcends fractals into very organic thinking & conceiving. Wonderful what happens when one puts fractals into non-fractal filters: I do very little fractal work, and because of that, I filter it to make up for my total ineptness at it! (You're not inept at it! I'm only saying I am, lol...). So I know what it feels like to subject a fractal to filtering...You show mastery & sweep in this, and your largely dark background makes the greens & maroons, etc., stand out very nicely. Fine work, and a fav for sure. I'll be back for more, just have to catch up with my life a bit more! Thanks so much for your visits, they were much appreciated...mark.
