Description

Dad Is Home: This is just a note to let all of my friends know my Dad is home from the hospital. Thank you all for your prayers, kind messages and thoughts for my family. I didn't want to give you a update on his condition until I knew he was going to be alright. I was afraid we were going to lose him and I'm glad he is home. As you can see it is going to take me a while to respond as I have so many dear friends to write. Please be patient with me and thank you all for your friendship to me. Dave This was only a update for everyone and not really a image so don't worry about any ratings or fav's please. But please feel free to leave a comment as I've missed hearing from all of you so much.

my my my, what a moving tribute to your dad and to you! If there's any indication on the impact you've had on this site, this is a radiant example. So many people come to share their love & relief & comfort for you: It's truly heartening. May that energy help your dad get better, and may it help you find healing & strength with everything you've encountered. As for the image, you couldn't have done a better one, it's so intuitively right: Just a child and a dog, and all those letters, and the joy of being around all those letters: Everything scattered in happiness, and the dog is the frosting on the cake, ie, newness, freshness, play, joy & childhood. I just love how you have everything scattered around like Christmas morning—which is what your news is like—and you have purple & deep green & that shock of beautiful red near the bottom: It's like a party of the heart. And you know, it doesn't matter which letter is "the" letter: News is like a million letters. You got it to the core. Beautiful Dave. And I know you don't want fav's because this is about healing and recovery; but the fav is for what you give to us; your comments in my gallery are worth a million of these letters, they're always affirming, always looking out for me, and always finding the light in my work, always. And you do that over and over each day for so many people: That's what the fav is for. And for your Dad who I hope is continuing to heal, and for you and your sister and everyone else who went through this ordeal. A beautiful vision; and I wish you much healing for this and for everything else; and much joy too. (I'll get to your latest tonight or tomorrow! I'm still catching up...but I won't forget!)

Wonderful scene Dave! I love the dog pulling on the paper, to me it depicts a struggle that has turned the corner. This image was uploaded 11 days after my 62nd birthday, wish I had seen it then. But the wish is the same whether it was a year ago or tomorrow. Continued good health for your father. I love viewing your works, they are just amazingly full of heart!

I hope your dad continues to do well, Dave. This is such a wonderful image! It shows a child, but so beautifully expresses the joy and love you were feeling. Beyond the terrific major story it tells, I see a little moment told wonderfully too. The major story is of extreme joy at the return home of your father and strong gratitude for all your friends that have worried, prayed and waited for news. As you sat there surrounded by the happiness of the day and the love of your friends, another small miracle takes place. Your puppy says look at me! Play with me! I have had moments like this. Where I am filled to the brim with happiness and my cat, for me it's always a cat :), comes up and does something so endearing, that I find I have room for even a little more happiness. I know that feeling when you just want to sweep him up in your arms and bury your face in his fur. (Cats do not appreciate this reaction) I love this image! I've always liked your avatar too, so it's great seeing the whole thing.

Beautiful image and very real and likely in many homes! Sometimes it is not clear which one is more 'baby! I think it's for you, an image relevant, since it hi stretch the image that represents you. To tell you the facts that spent too much time to make a logical comment. Sometimes it is better to be silent than to talk nonsense. I can only hope for the best possible!
