Description
Finally the site is at hand. A promontory of frozen bare rock coronated by a gigantic chunk of ice, embeded in it there is a huge black monolithe. For some reason the ice around of it does not melt, maybe inner forces are keeping the ice intact.
And the water level continues rising, Commodore Ulyses must take a decision... an explosion inside the Ice can originate a disaster of colossal magnitude. Dianne the archeologist is on her way to the shore.
Many thanks for your visit, comments and favorites. Very appreciated!

Ulyses
Great problems need great solutions: Comodoro Ulyses is wondering about those "internal forces" which maintain unmelted the ice around the monolithe. If this is so, could we use them in our own benefit?. Should it be possible to get through the ice and connect the extreme of a thermal superconductor (we have brought with us a long rope made of this material) to the monolithe while the other extreme is submerged in the sorrounding water?. If the internal forces of the monolithe are the way I think, in a few minutes we shall have the water frozen. Later, we will only need to apply the same principle to the melting walls. I hope this works!!!!
