Description

My arms would reach out and grab the tree roots and any branch. There I would plant my hand into the wood as if I were one with it. It would rescue me from the pain of the raper. I feel the wood as my angel watching over me. All so tall and beautiful; I watched the wind blow through the leaves. It would take my mind away from the sinner away from the pain. I would pretend the entire trees were angels and they continue today to guard from what sicken me. For not even the raper could take my spirit for love of God and the faith that I am his child. I did no wrong. I knew I’d find reason to the madness if only for the moment; the tree taken me. The tree held my hands as it holds my soul. Still today. Thank you for stopping in. I don't know if I've ever visited your gallery. You've some wonderful flames, and this is the first thumbnail to grab me. It's a great spiral, unique in form, and I'm glad you didn't add any color to it. Also, I'm deeply touched by your sentiments.
