Hi there.
Today a little creepy picture. This spider, think it's a Barn funnel weaver spider (Tegenaria domestica), I found in an old shower tub in the cellar. If you don't fear zooming in you could see that the legs all looks like hovering some mm above the ground. The spider had weave her web completely over the bottom of the tub and was waiting for some prey...

Great shot. I think it is a male because of the "pedipalps", those swollen areas at the end of the short "arms". I zoomed in and was not afraid at all. Of course, I also doubt I would be anxious to pick it up, lol. Nice capture. Lee

Mmmm! Tasty! ha! Well, certainly an efficient predator- I dont mind spiders, the keep the house clear of other more annoying insects. Nice macro!
