Description

9 full days to prep for this render. As with many of you out there, this started as a nice background for my new face morph. However it got bigger than Ben Hur. Caustics by me, inspired by Callad's light set - thanks for your support Charley. Hair from my GIMP salon, but with Koz's KyokoMk2 as a base for shadows. A whole raft of gear from rendo free-stuff. Some lovely 3ds tropical fish that I will rig someday, from http://www.dewantoro.net/2008/03/19/63-fish-free-3d-model/. They took a lot of messing around to re-UV map and fix fin positions after Blender hacked them, but I think it was worth it. This image is the result of watching "Finding Nemo" twice a day for three months with my son. My 15 year-old daughter admires the character I tried to model this after, so I combined the two, and included a few more clues to see if you can transform them into who the character might be. Thanks for looking and to everyone who commented on my previous efforts.

This is really incredible work! I can see why it took so long in the setup. Very well executed, and an extremely good looking underwater scene!

wOw! This is MOST impressive Gary! The DOF of the shark, the pose of the girl seeing at this very second hes swimming up to her, the complete underwaterscene and the lighting is absolutely fabulous! huh? I inspired something with my lightset?? grins You are most welcome then! Btw, this is not the reason I fav this. The fav is for the fantastic overall image, details and mood!
