After closely looking at my bird book, published by National Geographic, I agree with morningglory...a Northern Mockingbird. My book has a couple of dozen types of flycatchers but doesn't list "Empidonax" for some reason.

Wow, such a noble pose that bird is striking. I guess I'm just personifying but it looks like he/she knows their picture is being taken... and wants to show you their best side...lol...I love the scenery and warm homey feel of the environment. I see the sunflowers too!!!! Beautiful capture!!!!!!!!!!!
