this is really a great mix of techniques and feelings.. it would belong greatly to 2D gallery in my humble opinion, because it's a sort of cubism effort with amazing sensitivity for colours. Great contrast and quite a powerful design too :) Probably my favourite of the three :) Thank you for having told me you made the update :)!!!! It's always a pleasure to see your art :)

Andreas: I dunno, but it does come from a true fractal formula - MMF:Formula wars - it's a mixture of Standard and Barnsley 1.

IMHO the image is not a fractal. It's a great 2D composition without chaos and self-similarity.

As far as the image is concerned I tend to agree that it's not really fractal, but zooming out from this image reveals the normal chaos & self-similarity associated with fractals. As an image I suppose it should be in the 2D gallery, but to my way of thinking the galleries at Renderosity are more concerned with the origins of an image hence I put it in the fractal gallery.
