Description
Concept of a mini missile sub. Unlike much larger attack or missile subs, this one is designed specifically for operation in shallow littoral areas. It features 6 vertical launch tubes, and interestingly enough it has no torpedos. (It depends fully upon its complement of missiles for strike capability.) It is powered not by diesel or nuclear, but by fuel cells. The electric propulsion drives a pair of unique anti-cavitating forward swept counter-rotating props. It is fully automated and operates in near complete silence.
