Description

After a painting by Frederic Edwin Church (May 4, 1826 – April 7, 1900). This picture has been chosen by MAXON for one of the pages of their website. Palm trees and vegetation were created starting with a few basic leaf shapes multiplied with a cloner obj and random effect.Instead of using fog elements which would blot out the background, I've used volume lights, layered as needed. Sun rays are also single visible spotlights.

You actually built all these plants from scratch?!?!? Now that's commitment! But the output justifies the effort. Simply beautiful.

Well, with a little help from the duplicating features in Cinema 4d, it was actually fun.
