Description

One fellow wrote sitemail to me, and said that it is impossible to make photoreal render of poser characters. Well, I don't agree with him. I am NOT saying that this render is photoreal, but I will try and prove him wrong :) And thank you very much for your recent comments, on my quest for photoreal...you've been very helpful with your hints and tips :) About that hair...well I'm not there yet...face comes first... and I think I'll have to make dymanic hair with C4D hair module...but I have to buy it first :) Elite Amy with 3Dream Boyhair. Cinema 4D & Vray. Thank you for comments and views!! :)

That's very near photo-realistic. Awesome skin. Great job! Remember that lighting also plays a part as well as skin texture.

Outstanding work! Some of those poser babes look like plastic faced porcelain dolls now when you bring in dynamic-realism warts and all what are we to think? Definately superior in every way you did a fantastic job Kimmo or is it Master? LOL!!! fantastic in every way!!

Great job Kimmo and I'm sure you will make your point well. Sounds to me like your friend has a lot of time on his hands if this is his biggest concern ;)

This is incredible work. Wonderful skin texture. Even think the wrinkles around her eyes and in her forehead are great - they add to the realism aspect. Great job with the lips too. Very natural looking with the creases and color. Excellent way to present your 'counter argument' to your friend. Bravo!

Well done, friend, you're well on your way. And yes also to what E.Houser said about lighting, which damn near makes or breaks a picture. And I can think of PLENTY examples of photo-real textures. Take a look at Mec4D's picture here. This one actually had me fooled at first. So pooh on whoever told you Vicky can't look real! ;P I always figured that in 3D the original idea was to make it look real. Well, at least that's MY ultimate goal ;D

This seems super photo realistic to me. How can you argue with this! Look at the texture for the skin and her freckles! She even has the small wrinkles in the skin we all have, even at a young age. It is natural. You are amazing! Great job! Keep it up. I want to see more!

Well, I am sorry to say but I have to agree with the anonymous PM guy. It is indeed impossible to achieve realism in any 3D render, it always has certain CG elements to it, but hey this is fine work. I say if you want realism buy a damn camera :D

All I can say is go Kimmo go...prove 'em wrong!!! This one is great but I think there is too much contrast in the skin.. makes her skin look a bit too blotchy.. tone down the redness and I think you have cracked it.. master.. :o)

With all the various programmes such as Photoshop and the ability to alter images and photographs in whatever fashion. I would love to know what is photo real? Your lovely fine work is crisp in detail the lighting is perfect and is exactly the way you wish to portray the character and that in a nutshell is art, nuff said!!
