Description
They were above my head by several inches, and while I know they were flowers of some sort, they sure looked like wing furled bats in disguise to me!
Thanks for looking.

Wonderful capture of this flower. I drew some of them a long time ago, don't think I still have it up, and can't remember the name. They look like that in the day. In the evening they bloom beautifully.

Angel trumpets, or some such name? They're supposedly highly poisonous, but they're very beautiful... I like the postwork here!

Very unusual! Very beautiful, too. Excellent image.

I think I've seen these...or something like them. They're gorgeous, and to me, they look like aliens of some sort. That's just me, I tend to go for the "alien angle" since my mind works in that general direction. I see the bat resemblance as well. I like the understated sense of color and your post work, it really brings out the texture of these flower-thingies.

Yes, I can see why bats came to mind. What unique growing "things". Well done.

Angel trumpets, aka Brugmancia. (Not datura - datura flowers point up.) They're both poisonous, so don't eat any. :) I love what you've done with this! The postwork is wonderful.
