just a little series here. I like to show the progression of these little guys. However when I went to take the last shot of the empty nest ..a little surprise awaited me...one poor lonely egg that did not hatch. Thanks for viewing and for all the comments past and present!! For those that have been following this series, the babies take flight is next . thanks again!!

There is good as well as bad news. It looks like an Easter egg. VEry good shots. Today those eggs on my post hatched. Nest is inside a bush and I cannnot take their pics without a flash. I think it may hurt them. So I have to wait few more day until they are strong.
