t think it has to happen. There are so many of them, and I bet sb produces spare parts:) Moreover, some yrs ago sb made a brand new flying Spitfire from parts found in bogs, junkyards, etc.-even if all original ones fail, there still will be an opportunity to make some. Recently Jakowlew produced a series of their Yak-3 - why couldn
t the descendants of N.A.?;) Btw, I can`t say it was an actual Workhorse. These were made as the more advanced and more expensive type and required very careful maintenance; docs available on the New suggest a Mustang could loose as much as some 50km/h (~30mph) of its performance after accumulating front line wear-and-tear! It seems the old sturdy P-40 fulfilled such a role better. Mustangs were the race stallions:).Doriutz
