Took this photo of a slightly larger than life bronze statue at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. The statue faces the rising sun early this morning, Sunday, May 31, 2009. It is a great character portrait and if not for the eyes betraying the lifeless state, it would even have showed emotions. Great separation of the background to make it pop, Bill.
