Description

This image is a little different from my usual ones. It has a little chaos built into. I didn't know exactly why and then I realized that when we move out of our comfort zone, we begin to feel that there is chaos in our lives. In reality it is really about how we perceive our lives. A little chaos is always present. That is why we are free to make choices and iron out those bumps in the road. How much chaos we have is up to us. Now that is neat... it's up to us to iron out the chaos. Wow! What a concept. In, around, through... up, down, now where are we bound? The world is a most wondrous and exciting place. You don't believe it. You are here aren't you?. You are the most exciting and wonderful person there is because you have been given the power to choose. Every day we have the ability to choose a new future. Everyday we have the ability to release old memories of the past and old beliefs that no longer serve our highest good. For a long time we have thought that a mistake was an error. I am here to tell you that the word mistake simply means to 'miss the mark.' So when you miss the mark, take a moment to ask yourself "what have I learned from this event?" Then move forward and try it again but this time try it from a new point of view. Add to your original idea what you have learned from your first attempt. You will be amazed at how successful you will be. Always believe in yourself. A favorite saying of mine is "if it is not this, it will be something bigger and better." We should allow ourselves to be daring and bold at times. We won't know if we can succeed if we don't push ourselves beyond what we know and beyond our comfort zone. When we succeed, we will have expanded our comfort zone and we will be ready to be daring again. We have the power to bring into our lives all that we desire. We can dare to live our lives as we know they can be. But nothing will happen if we just sit down and wait. It takes a first step to try something new. So today... just for today... dare yourself to take that first step and try something you haven't done before. You won't know if you will succeed until you try. Our thought for the day is: 'I am... therefore I live. I dare... therefore I will succeed. I am a living, moving and breathing miracle.' In certain metaphysical philosophies chaos is not viewed with a negative connotation. It is sometimes also referred to as void - but this does not mean devoid, rather it is a place where all energies exist, and since these energies are often very different in nature they conflict, so there is a sense of disharmony, yet here is the core of all potential. All energy is there we need only draw upon those energies we need to use and harness, to focus toward desired ends. Thus chaos is the source of potential from which all change comes. Beautiful artwork and thought for the day!

I love this. I actually can see a bird's face in this way down just above the inside border, and it looks to me it's breaking outside of its nest that it's built from petals and leaves and twigs and thorns and it's deciding if it's ready to fly. I think this is why I've always been involved in learning technique of one type of artistic discipline or another. Learning and critiquing and performing always makes me push past my comfort zone, and it always feels really scary at first, but then there's this moment when I can breathe deeply and I feel like I've moved past the boundaries I've created for myself. This is special. Your art always speaks on a deep level to me.

Very different! The blend of these colours is powerful, and seems like there is so much more within that "vacuum" that appears to me as such. Great shapes, contours and features! A real treasure!
