Description

Finished the Johnny Sweetblood character from my graphic novel titled "Xara Moon - Soul Hunter", took special care with the details. My goal was to render as close to photo realistic as possible. Made use of all the features to get the result. Displacement mapping, Texture overlays, Bump Mapping, Extra High res textures (8000x8000). Face Morph and Textures for the M4 model created by me. Rendered with Sky lighting and Ambient Occlusion with Full Ray Tracing @ 0.5 Pixel precision and lighting set to Best in Carrara 7 Pro. Render on my i7 8core with Geforce 9800 GTX 1Gig took 2.5 hours. This is not the final design but just the character, figured I would show you my progress with this teaser :) A big love to my better half Mel and my kids.
