Great desert landscape and panorama image Richard. It really does almost look and feel like it's on Mars or somewhere.

You made a very fine panorama to show how it can be so harsh and desolate. It's hard to land your focus on the great beauty of the place, when your eyes are full of grit. We always come home when we're sick of the red sand, never tired of the views or the adventures. Not the best time to be there. Next time, study the weather, seriously, and don't even go if it's nasty out there. We got caught a few years back in a 70 mph wind and couldn't find the horizon line at all because of the dirt mingling with the high clouds. Worst of it was that when the wind quit there was some rain and then a blizzard.

Fabulous panorama ! I remember a severe duststorm in Idaho, ten years ago. We were just behind a big truck. It saved us for 50 miles between Dillon and Idaho Falls.

Awesome natural scene, Richard. Looking at this is almost as good as being there. The viewer really gets a sense of the vastness and desolation and stark beauty. Can't tell it was all stitched together.
