Photo by Alex He sent me this just awhile ago, the little preying mantis is sitting on a clover. Alex said it was extremely difficult to get this shot. Hope you enjoy him:-)and this baby is about the size of his fingernail! Thanks for the encouragement you left on my daughters work yesterday!!! A focus lock with my camera is nearly impossible at this size. I have some I've done but it requires a flat plain for a good focus. Excellent macro. I have 3 babies I'm following in my garden now so I hope to contribute to the mantis shots later when my camera is not being so "difficult."

Thank you all so much...but no joke, i took almost 40 and ended up with 7 usable shots...these kids are faster than their parents. i'm with Cherokee; ) they creep me out too!
