Description

took this yesterday evening.I recently bought a gear driven Manfrotto tripod head and a legs separate for to use with my 50-500mm Sigma lens.I got the head for a price I could not pass up, 1/3 third of the original cost finally we had a moon that was big enough in daylight.every evening it had been obscured thanks for looking and any comments

I'd love to have the equipment to get moon shots this good, there's so much I want on a limited budget lol. Impressive work Richard!

Nice shot along the terminator. I have taken moon shots with my Meade 8" 2000 MM CG telescope with a film camera with mixed results.Maybe one of these years I can afford a CCD device. I took a few shots with my Olympus C-8080 at max zoom and got a couple fair pics. I don't think I posted.
