Description

I guess these trees didn't survive the wetness of the environment wich now surrounds them. Still they serve as a home for many birds and other animals and probably some shrooms too. Some of these birds are pretty rare and so this spot as often visited by birdspotters. Isn't it wonderful that something that is dead is so necessary for other things that are living? Good day all, Thom

All things seem to have purpose. That's why I have such a hard time with human plans to "make things better" in nature. We may not understand why nature does what it does but our trying to help very often only improves our circumstances and not nature's. I love your postwork here. Excellent composition.

Nice pic! Maybe it should be re-titled to the "Beauty of Recycling..." Death is as ugly as hell...

I so agree with MrsLubner .. Mother Earth already has the perfect system set up, it's functioned for millenia .. and we think we can make it better? No .. I'm not going to get on my soap box and rant .. grins .. I'm just going to say what a wonderful capture, and a marvelous pictorial commentary on the course of nature.
