Description

We found them sitting along the nature trail Sunday. The first person we thought of was Shroom Bob. We didn't even know he was missing them. We just thought of him. Shroom Bob, these are for you! Thank you for all the comments on my previous post, they mean the world to me! Friends always, Cheri

It was hard to clean off the single one without doing it any damage, the tops of these things are like glue! I can see in the image, that I missed a couple of spots.,...so I guess the morel(yes,I typed this right)of this would be "you can change a shrooms appearance, but you can't change its spots?"

Sprinkles on top of vanilla ice cream! Stellar shots of the fungi, they look good enough to eat, but I never would. Also, lots of dead foliage stuff lying about.

Fantastic shot. These look wonderful, I particularly like the dirty, spotty ones. They kinda remind me of mushroom season over in central and eastern Europe. Once these babies start sprouting, everyone goes out "into the nature" to collect them for stews, soups, salads, and whatever other food thingies you'd put mushrooms in. Mushroom hunting's one of those pleasures that I miss now that I'm back in Chicago. But enough of that. Great photographic work, good details and a sense of color too...fantastic work.
