Description

The 747 carrying the Space Shuttle flew right over our vacation rental home in New Smyrna Beach in the landing pattern for Cape Canaveral this evening. Glad I had my camera with me. I sure fumbled to get it out of the case.

And soon, it'll be something we never see. NASA is retiring all three surviving shuttles next year. That would be Atlantis in your photo, I guess, returning home from California?
