Description

I just rendered this today as a test for 3ds max 4's Depth of Field multipass rendering system. This scene has 30 passes with 1.5 sample radius and 0.7 sample bias. After I rendered it, I thought that it would have looked better if the more central tree was in focus, and I'll probably go back and re-render it. If anyone has some good tricks for using less samples and still getting a good result, please tell me. Any other comments are welcome aswell. Thanks in advance.

Wow! I don't nothing about the program, so I cannot give tecnical advice... But the picture reminds me of a cartoon I saw sooo many years ago! I was a little child, and my TV was black and white, but there were some furry and soft trees, and when I saw those colours they fitted so well in that remembrance! I just find myself with the remembered image coloured! Such a strange and lovely feeling... I had just to stop and say thank you...
