It's almost as if you knew I was going to ask for the meshes! Curiously, since there is absolutely nothing to critique on this, you should be careful you don't fined by the CG police for littering a city street and for dangerous parking. Brilliant mate - the holy grail. Favourite

Brilliant work. I just wonder why somebody puts so much afford in something that already exists. (You´d just to take a photograph from any average german town.)

"I just wonder why somebody puts so much afford in something that already exists. (You´d just to take a photograph from any average german town.)" This place does not exist.Everything you see, looks in that way, because i wanted it to look that way.I did not want to take a photograph of an average town somethere, i wanted to create an image consisting of my personal impressions and filtered memories. ;) Thanks for your feedback, btw:)

Excellent modeling - extremely good texture work ! I like 3D art like yours, because it shows the expertise in just about all categories connected to 3D graphics ... not enough appreciated around here, it seems ...

At first I thought this was a composite. And thought, "Ok, which vehicle/building is modeled?" But then followed your link. The whole thing is! Definitely must have taken some time. This definitely gets a 5!

Breath taking! All of your work are incredible! May I ask you that the render is a pure Advanced Render, or you use something else? And approximately how long is the render time of a this kind of picture?

Thank you:) Well, this image was rendered with AR3. ;) In a resulotion of 1500 by 2000 pixels it took about 48 minutes to render it on a dual 885-opteron machine. I will produce a bigger resulotion later on to get a good base for a print.

I just added you to my favorite artists list and browsed through most of the images in your gallery. Instead of writing a comment on each one of them, I will just write one single general comment here. Your attention to detail is what strikes me stronger in your images. No detail is overlooked or treated as less important. Your control of the technical aspects of the software is total. Your compositions are strong and well planned. Your control of light and shadows is absolute. Your materials are extraordinary. The interaction of all of this creates a fantastic level of realism and a very consistent collection of images. My hats off to you. Aestethically, I don't identify myself with most of your images but this is strictly a personal preference and, of course, it does not decrease my admiration for your work. Your images are consistently, let's say, 'dirty and old', in the sense that materials were aged, dirt was added and a general sense of chaos was created. I personally try to avoid seeing images with dirt, age and chaos because the real world is already too full with these. In fact, your images even enhance this feeling more than the real world. Let's say that your images are more 'real' than the real world, if you know what I mean. Watching images is for me a way to escape the real world, not to embrace it again. So, when I watch your images, although I do admire them a lot technically, I can't look at them for too long because they tend to depress me. Aestethically, I prefer images that elevate me, instead of depressing me. There is one thing I do miss in most of your images and, in my very humble opinion, it's an important factor. I miss the sense of intelectual excitement. I find that your images miss some unique element or object that contrasts with the rest of the elements and objects in the scene, either conceptually or visually, in order to bring this intelectual excitement. I'm not talking about fantasy elements, I'm talking about something 'different'. One image that comes very, very close to this is your image Dreirad. That bycicle could be that element. But because it's also old and rusty, it doesn't detach itself enough from the surroundings, IMO. If the bycicle was newer and if we could feel other element that testifies the recent visit of some child, this could be this element. It would bring life to the image. A contrast, an excitement. Another example, your image Echos. One possible such element could be, for example, a person sitting in that sort of bridge or catwalk, in the midground. Again, it would bring life to the image, it would bring the notion that something is going on, this isn't just an old, dead place. It would bring the excitement for the viewer to wonder what's going on, who is that person and what's the relationship with the rest of the environment. Another example, your image 'At work'. Maybe a face peeking at the window? Maybe a red flower lying on the chair? Sorry for this long comment. :-) I only write this much when I'm in love with something... :-) I love your work. Keep it up!
