Description

One of my all time favorite songs---it's crazy how long I've loved it too...for my son it was "Dust In the Wind" it had the ability to shut him down from a full blown fury screaming fit when he was a baby---and make him coo like a dove...had to go and buy it just in case of emergencies. I still catch him singing the lyrics under his breath from time to time. But for me it will always be Procol Harum singing "Whiter Shade of Pale" Thanks for taking the time Isolde, Trixie stuff from Lady Little Fox and DAZ, Trickster textures for Trixie by Kaleya--thanks, sweetie!! They're PERFECT!! The outfit itself was a bit drab, these textures brought it right to life... Cane is from Infamous for V4 from Lady Little Fox over at RDNA. Thanks Laura

Gorgeous work! Now that song will be stuck in my head all day as well. Always loved it! Very haunting melody, especially the Procol Harum version. Has been remade by other artists but never bested.

Whiter Shade of Pale make by think of my youth in England:-) Mini skirts and boots, pale faces and black liner >sigh< Absolutely wonderful image, the whole composition is outstandingly beautiful. A favourite for me!

Yep, I have DitW too--though I do like a Whiter Shade of Pale.. and this render too--it looks so cool and elegant, as though the Mad Hatter had his wardrobe redesigned by Karl Lagerfeld and modelled on Isolde!

...and to me it is "Holding back the years" by Simply Red that cools me down (and "A new flame" to get me started). I think you've caught the mood of the song pretty well - and if you look closely there's a little bit of decadence as well - so I think there's a little bit of "Nights in white satin" in it as well!!

Wonderful image! I used to calm my friend's daughter with Martin Page's "In the House of Stone and Light" I'd play it and move around the room with her (She was just a few months old at the time) until she was calm and asleep.
