Description
This is our new puppy running toward me in our back yard. He is a hybrid cross called a Cavachon - a mix of a Cavalier Spaniel and a Bichon Frise.
He is keeping me busy and scores lots of "awww" point with everyone he meets.

Great Scott, shades of the Tribbles from Star Trek!!! Where did you get that diminutive ball of fluff? It can't be real! I bet you named it after Mickey Mouse, because it's about as small as one. In any event, stellar POV, clarity and textures in this marvelous image.

can I make a suggestion? I think it would be great with big hearts & big paws and maybe a big "awwwww" across the top. (Ha ha, not funny...) It's a terrific shot, first because the dog is clearly in motion yet he is perfectly poised (that motion/posed thing you do so well), and because he actually looks very serious, like he's contemplating some major issues. His legs have the spaniel's fur-flare, and the grass has fine detail and softened focus in the right spots: It's a simple shot but beautiful; and Aww's are fine with shots like these: You're not milking us for aww's, you're just capturing Mickey in a natural pose. So the aww's are fully earned. I wonder how big he'll get...

awee he is so cute!!! my Mom looked at cavashons too this spring almost got one ( she has a shishon hald bichon hald shitztu) but ended up with the new one being a havanese. Aweee darling dog the hybreds are all the rage now! btw we are expecting a litter of puppies soon here looks like it will be a busy summer for us both hehe... adorable Jodie! :)
