Description
The Bel Air debuted in 1950 and was an instant success. This model was adapted from the fastback Fleetline, by deleting and rebuilding the whole greenhouse/trunk area.
The color combination of Grecian Grey over Empire Red is not factory standard, but looked so appealing i had to use it.
Hope you like it and thanks for watching.

I used to own one very similar to this. Mine was a 52. The styles didn't change much until 55. And my next car was a 58. I loved my old 52. So round, so big, so solid. It was a monster. Mine came with a 6 cylinder, and I promptly put a V8 in it, just to have enough power to get it around. Wonderful cars but extremely heavy and underpowered. One of the best cars you could ever take a date to the drive in with. I've been in apartments in Japan that were smaller. In this case, your roof seems a little low to me. Just a tad higher maybe. I'm still waiting for someone to model a 65 Foed Econoline van I can get my hands on. My all time favorite vehicle, and I am not a car modeler lol. If I had a model of that van, though, I'd use it a lot. I only owned like, 6 of them over the years.

Thanks all for the kind comments! bonestructure - i have already modeled the 52 Bel Air and will post it soon. Thanks for your crit, i will check the roof height: i work from photographs so some distortion may have fooled me. 65 Ford Econoline, a funny-looking car. Took note, someday might give it a try.
