before when I was still working, I had some clients that took part in the Normandy invasion and each year they would return for the commemoration outstanding flowers and dedication I heard a joke about one such person.I do not know if there was any truth to it a very old frail man was making the journey to take place in the celebration and when he got off the jet he was slow and he did not have his passport out. a very rude French customs officer was berating him because his passport was not ready for inspection and he asked have you been to France before?the old man replied yes I was here before but no one asked me for my passport when I took place in the Normandy invasion!!!
