Description
I eventually hope to turn my Avenging Angel novel either into a comic series or a graphic novel. Probably a series, then I can bring back all the chapters I had to cut out to make it into a novel. I did write it in episodes so the comic medium will be well suited I think.
However I am unsure what style to use for the art. This is an example of tooning in poser, using Olivier's toon shaders with semidieu's shaderworks. Some of the images are in vue.
The motorbike is the honda from vanishingpoint.
Let me know how this style compares to the first excerpt I posted using straight poser renders. This way takes longer but possibly looks better for a comic.
Love esther
PS I'm not posting my whole novel here, these are just WIPs and it will be a long time before this project is finished, so if anyone is interested in the story you can order the novel from here:-

Both ways are really really good. I honestly can't say that I like one way better than the other. I know that doesn't help - or maybe it does. If I did not have a choice, I would not give the style of the artwork a second thought. Both ways look great to me. If there were two versions of the book, illustrated the two different ways, which one would I pick? Tough call but probably the second version, tooned, since I like the rich saturation of color and it also has a slightly more finished and perhaps professional look about it - though some of that could well be do to this is how you expect a comic to look.
