Description

Synn is a former assassin of House Belladonna, a secretive assassin's guild within the Hedonis Clan. The Hedonis Clan is a clan devoted to pleasure, serenity and the arts, however it has found that at times it needs to help "guide" humanity toward a more enlightened path...sometimes by eliminating those that stand in the way. House Belladonna assassins are trained to do this without malice or viciousness. In fact, a perfect assassination is one where the victim dies while experiencing pleasure (not necessarily sexual). At the very least, the kill should be painless. Synn broke that rule. She is both a sadist AND she thinks she should decide who lives and who dies, not the leaders of House Belladonna. Unfortunately, she's also one of the best, and the other assassins sent after her have met a gruesome fate. She will be one of the main antagonists in my Freelancers graphic novel. Essentially, she's a "dark mirror" for the main character, Shiva Reece. She represents everything Shiva could have been if she had no morals. Synn's outfit is specially designed to draw attacks to the center mass of the body. She had the suit made to look more vulnerable, and thus she baits opponents into attacking spots of her choosing. The plates are actually no more or less armored than the carbon nanofiber weave bodysuit. Most opponents go right for the midsection or head, where Synn's combat training is strongest at defending and counterattacking. Synn is also an empath, able to read the emotions of her enemy...with effort, she's also able to project an emotional state of her choosing upon her enemy as well. Instead of broadening her psychic abilities, like Shiva does, she's honed this one ability to the Nth degree, and hopes to one day be able to kill with a thought. I really liked how this came out. There's something that looks very "Sith" about her, and I hope to get that same visceral subconscious recognition and reaction from readers. Ynes Armor and bodysuit, bastienne mats from Daz3d
