Hello everyone and thanks for viewing, I'm still experimenting with different render and material settings in Vue 7 Esprit. For this image, I used the freebie dragon by Mock, and changed it's materials to a type of glass in Vue. Then I placed colored point lights inside to give it a magical glow. I think the effect came out really nice, but it took forever to render. (about 6 hours!!!) Afterward, I noticed that the original character I used for the girl had a shader that didn't play well in Vue and was much too shiny. I was given a fantastic new character from Syltermermaid (thank you very very much, Ute), and rendered her in the same costume and pose using image based lights in the same locations as the ones in the Vue setting. I assembled the images using Photoshop Elements 6, and added some glowing effects to get the girl to stand out some. I wanted to do more, but decided enough was enough for this image.
