Description
Stegosaurus (means "roof-lizard") is a genus of stegosaurid dinosaur from the Late Jurassic period (150 to 145 million years ago), North America.It was herbivore (plant-eater). Stegosaurus armatus was around 9 metres (30 ft) long,so it was larger than Stegosaurus stenops with length 7m (23 feet).

Yeah baby, that's what I'm talk'n about! Stego is Colorado's state Dino.... they loved it here. The bones we have in the museum here show big plates on the back and a small head.... excellent picture, would love to see an upload of the Stego whacking T-Rex accross the head - - - maybe next upload??? - - - Maybe???

Another great scene, I think that’s the Allosaurus on the hunt there as Trex didn't arrive on the scene until millions of years after the good old Stegosaurus had disappeared :)
