That is a wonderful abstract, Ana. I love the geometric shapes, and always this media is beautiful in your hands, with tonal variation you create. This brings back memories. I once did a sculpture with a head similar to that. Excellent artwork, Ana.

I love the style of this...and the boldness of the dark tones that stand out without overwhelming the more subtle and lighter colors. I'm a big fan of elegance, and this is superbly elegant and clean...there are no wasted strokes here, no wasted details. Great work!

I cam back and looked at this (years later, as you can see) and I have to say that it makes me think a little bit about the work of Hans Hoffman; he's one of my favorite artists. This is totally different: it's your artwork and it's original. Brilliant. I love re-discovering this!

It is such a 'multiple' image (múltipolo), meaning, it has so many viewpoints, there are so many ways of seeing it. I see a chair and I see two people. But I also see a big head, a sculpted 'bust'. And then, I see an intimate space, as in a living room: And something big & profound is moving into it. Something is encroaching (apossarse de algo/invadir de algo). As Tim says, you use space so well. And the tallest figure—on the right—looks like a person being pushed away. It's very suggestive (indicativo de algo), indicativo of many things. And your washes are beautiful, as always; and your lines are sweeping and powerful. You say more with grays than many artists say with a whole palette of colors. Powerful, and with a feeling of someone being invaded. And yet it's like a big sculpture, and it's eloquent & beautiful.
