Recently the Air Force historian's office has written historys of the F-4D that insisit it had only AIM-4D Falcons and never Raytheon "Sparrows". In the Missile defense developments called "Hit to Kill" supported by former Gen. Chuck Horner once based at Shaw, AFB, this is highly germaine. If General Horner says it works I believe him. If Hughes says it works I do not. (see also HELLFIRE)
