BobbyStahr aka Robert Purves was seduced into computers late in life(age 45) by a free Amiga 1000 that I needed to transcribe music with. When that was done one thing led to another and 18 months later due to a need for speed and Imagine porting over I jumped to a pc. Never looked back happy to say. I play no games, have no business software, just art and music. BIO I use Imagine a lot, Photoshop quite a bit, Vue6I PLE a bit also, and have played a bit with the free ver. of Cinema4D, and am recently enamored of the new TG 3 Free. I also write copious amounts of music in an awesome and inexpensive music writing software called MelodyAssistant, available at http://www.myriad-online.com The hyphen is part of the URL. Highly reccomended to anyone, musician or not. I got into art from sports at an early age when I discovered I was more into cooperation than competition...my mission statement is" Never go straight.....Go Forward...."

I have been paying attention to your work since you have become a membor back in 2002. I have been using Imgaine since Turbo Silver on an Amiga 500 when I was 13 years old back in 1988. This is one of th nicest looking buildings you have done I enjoy the way the textures, patterns, shadows and simu-sun have turned out. The only part I do not like is the newness off the '53-'56? truck. The sun glair reflections make the paint look to shiny for the age of the truck in the appropriation of the scene. I would like to see, something I have worked on for a long time up until about three years ago. A rendered fully and appropriate aged look. Once again VERY NICE JOB!!!

In this render, you reference MAPPS - This is a building I made from image references in the Main Street package by MAPPS. I would like to see this package as well and see what my TG2 can do since you got me going in this direction. Can you provide a link to package or help direct me?

Thanks all...re: that truck...well it has over 100 shaders all labeled objxxx so sorting it out was quite beyond me...in the future I shall load it into Imagine and collapse it a bit and THEN I shall dirty it up real good.. ...
