Description

Cute pair huh? Taken in Cades Cove in Tennessee. This would be a perfect place to hold a Renderosity gathering, hint hint. Rent a few large cabins and spend the mornings and early evenings exploring the streams and mountains. There is so much to see, and do, lots of wildlife, historic buildings, wildflowers, beautiful landscapes and close to the Smoky Mountains and Gatlinburg. One thing I love is two days a week they close the Cove loop to cars and its bikes only and it is an awesome way to see the Cove up close. I will admit I have had to get off my bike at times and walk it, a few hills that I just couldn't make :) but good time to break out the camera as you walk. It is part of the Smoky Mountains and the most visited National Park there is. And an awesome place for photography. I have joined another site, similar to this one and joined a group there that meets twice a year in the area. It would be fun to try to get a group together like that here. The autumn colors there are amazing, any takers? Thanks to all that took the time to visit my gallery and to comment on my work, I think this one 'In the Cove', is one of my favorites so far, I just love how it came out, and straight from the camera. I just added the frame. Thanks again.

Lovely image, I haven't been on a horse since I was a kid! I've only been there once, but TN would be great for a gathering, beautiful state!

Great capture I had a horse a long time ago when I was a teen....her name was Star and I loved her so........... Haven't ridden in yrs...........this took me back thank you for that moment in time that meant so much to me Hugs Susan~

Sorry, no takers here, but thanks anyway for the invitation. I don't know about bikes in that terrain. But, a golf cart would be ideal in this instance. A superb bit of POV, clarity, colors, and lighting in this splendid snap of the magnificent equines, Lynell.

Tennessee would be awesome, just not right in Nashville. Nashville stresses me out. It is gorgeous there. So are the mountains in North and South Carolina. Nice shot. Awesome capture.
