Description

Hey, I hope you all have fun, do not lose the fun element in your photography!
Probably my last grungy upload for a while. This one was done with a "molten lead" texture, hence the brighter textured vignette. You may have noticed that not all photographs are good candidates to grunge but others increase in impact and/or mood. To me it remains a medium close to pure photography combined with some creativity coming from my emotions, without losing the content of the image. You be the judge which ones work and which don't.

I think Tara nailed it... it (the grungy postwork) focuses the attention on the main subject. I love the little (or not) open mouths waiting for their basic need to be met... So much like humans - always reaching out and seeking for basic needs to be satisfied! Excellent work Piet! :)

I know nothing of grunge other than that which sticks to my grandson when he comes in from riding his dirt bike... but I do know birds and I am totally in love with these little ones. Stellar peek at them!

Awww I watched some baby birds yesterday that had built a nest in a wooden bird feeder off our deck.. I think they are finches not sure but they are tiny and NOISY as hell lol......
