My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

Oooh, wow! Oooh, I like this. The colors are amazing and I love the black background. Are these Chinese? They remind me of something I'd see stylized on a scroll print, centered on a stunningly precise and emotionally significant poem written in delicate and brisk brush strokes. Amazing. I love the associations this generates. And well...needless to say, this is a favorite of mine.

I wasn't posting yet, so sent dear Andrea something in the mail; I'm sorry I missed all the dedis! This is gor-ge-uss! The lighting is very sharp, as is the shadow, I love that you gave it a dark background, the composition is almost oriental and the saturated light on top makes it glow. Your intimate plant portraits are just consistently fine, Tara. And it couldn't be for a better person & artist. Wonderful piece, wonderful dedi, wonderful (what) dedi-ee? (great! what's the word?) Dedicatee! I got it! HBirthday, Andrea!
