love the shadow on this, as well as the light; and above all the way the faces fill much of the frame; and that yellowish tint to it all makes it all seem both intense and a dream. Another of your captures of the fantastic...it's a wonderful shot, and gives us not only Hawaii, but you. (Not that you're made of wood I mean the spirit, the power, the magic.) And happy birthday to Andrea, another of the Powerful ones! (Hell, her doodles alone shake the foundations of the site!) I have to go now, but I'll be back for more. I'm trying to get 'representative' shots, and you know how I feel about a lot of the others...more next time!

Wow. Someone went to a lot of work to carve these. You can see that the wood is starting to deteriorate. They remind me a little of the stone images on Easter Island. Great full-frame shot, Marilyn!
