I meant to comment on this months ago. I'm glad I got to browse your gallery and re-discover it. I know this will sound strange, but I liked the flat lighting, because it allowed all the subtle and lush greens to come out. Some days I get irritated because I see a beautiful shot and I know I won't get another chance ... and the sky is overcast. That happened to me almost my whole last trip. Then I see this shot by you, and you too fought white skies. In this case, though, it is to good effect. Excellent work.
