the formation is strange in the lower left quadrant.I think it is an illusion from sun rays.what are your thoughts we are having heavy storms here so I must turn the computer off.thanks for viewing and comments

Yes I lost power for 4 hrs in downtown arlington last night, the clouds were looking very green on my way up from cleburn yesterday at about 6, great capture and post!

Excellent shot, Richard. As to the oddity of the cloud formation, here in New England we call that a Herring bone Sky. Friends of mine were fishermen off Marthas' Vineyard, and that formation indicated a brewing storm, and were always right! They were Wampanoagh Indians, and have live by the sea for centuries.But what it signifies in Texas is open to conjecture!
