Description

Not all is lost. I say not all, because the reloaded Studio refuses to acknowledge my lighting systems so far, and won't show half of what was in my computer prior to the reinstall-but I'm thankful it wasn't a TOTAL loss. I need to find out if my shaders are still accessable through the app-the files are there, but then so are my UE lights...I just can't GET them. We'll see. I am, as well, thankful I was able to get Lei and Joques downloaded onto a CD before the coputer completely froze for the last time. So, here is my test rendering-no postwork, I have not installed Photoshop just yet. I have to find my serial before doing so. My morphs for the guy-Hierophant, of course, for the skin and outfit. Jepe's Elementz for the effects and a freebie background I found somewhere on Renderosity. I used four point lights at the hands, one spotlight behind him, and one distant light-all set on raytrace....and this took less than fifteen minutes to render. My system hasn't ran this well since I first started this 3D art almost two years ago. *Squee!*

This came out very well! I'm sorry to hear about all your computer troubles and I sympathize. My little computer lets me know, from time to time, that this 3D stuff is just plain hard work! Good luck on reinstalling your tools of the trade.
